Former Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) councillor and businessman Don Creary was granted $4 million bail when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Thursday. The 48-year-old is being charged with two counts of rape and has recieved $2 million bail on each count. Creary was last week charged, alongside 23-year-old publicist Shaneke Williams with a rape incident involving a 15-year-old girl in November 2013. Williams is being charged for aiding and abetting rape and sexual touching, and was granted bail in the sum of $1.5 million on Monday. Creary was also slapped with an additional rape charge on Tuesday, as he is charged with the alleged rape of an 18-year-old female at an apartment in Meadowbrook, St Andrew in June.
