The Trinidad-based Seismic Research Unit of the University of the West Indies (UWI) recorded four minor earthquakes within the Caribbean region on Sunday. The first quake was a magnitude 3.8 at 123 kilometers north-east of Bridgetown with a depth of 70 kilometers and recorded at 5:00 a.m. (local time). A 4.5 magnitude quake hit 136 kilometers north east of Bridgetown 28 minutes later with a depth of 28 kilometers. The next quake occurred at 8:36 am at magnitude 3.9 and was 130 kilometers north east of Bridgetown with a depth of 64 kilometers. The last quake hit 59 kilometers north west of Port of Spain, Trinidad at magnitude 3.9.
